So this week was a historical week for the USA..Obama got the first ever health bill passed so finally everyone that doesn’t work for Corporate America (like us.. & millions more) can go get a doctors check up with out it costing $500, but more importantly the health insurance companies cant drop really sick people & kids …anymore.
Here is a giant tumbleweed that rolled into our parking lot..I don’t know why people are fascinated with these things but there IS something cute about them..especially this one! We adopted it & called it T-weedy..this is how we roll!!
So we just finished up our Summer 10 fashion shows and fashion fairs & are exhausted. We showed at the London Edge, then London PURE, then on to MAGIC in Las Vegas (cha ching!) Mark from Derby flew in to help out in Vegas but Jenna got stuck home holding the bag (literally) as the purses, totes, backpacks & hoody samples didn’t get finished in time for the shows..(bummer, as the designs are Sooooooooo cute!) The shows were fun & went well:) We met customers from Bermuda, Switzerland, Italy, Japan,Hawaii & more.. Blue Banana shops flew in from Cornwall to see us so it ended up being a real (drunken) English fest!!! The English are taking over the USA, i swear..yippee:)
Here is a picture of our stand, which we had to build from scratch OURSELVES ..hey who says girls cant do every damn thing!…but those maniquins are a bi-atch & a half to dress. It looks easy but its not and when its for the shows you have to go seriously overboard.
